UIAGM / IFMGA Certified
At Andes Big Mountain, we take the mountains seriously. That is why our lead guides hold the UIAGM / IFMGA International Mountain Guide certification — the highest and most globally recognized standard in professional mountain guiding.
The UIAGM (International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations) certification requires multiple years of rigorous training and assessment in alpine climbing, ski mountaineering, and guiding techniques. It includes advanced risk management, rescue systems, snow and avalanche science, glacier travel, and decision-making under complex mountain conditions.
This qualification is not just a title — it represents competence, judgment, and responsibility at the highest level. When you climb or ski with us, you are guided by professionals trained to operate safely in serious terrain, anywhere in the world.
