Definitions<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eea8b88 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"eea8b88\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li><strong>\u201cTour \/ Expedition \/ Program\u201d<\/strong> means any guided mountain activity offered by Andes Big Mountain, including but not limited to mountaineering, alpine climbing, ski touring, volcano ascents, and high-altitude expeditions.<\/li><li><strong>\u201cYou \/ Your\u201d<\/strong> means the first named person on the booking and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or added.<\/li><li><strong>\u201cGuide(s)\u201d<\/strong> means ABM-appointed guides, including UIAGM\/IFMGA certified guides and support staff.<\/li><li><strong>\u201cForce Majeure \/ Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances\u201d<\/strong> means events outside ABM\u2019s reasonable control, including but not limited to storms, dangerous weather, route closures, avalanches, rockfall, earthquakes, volcanic activity, wildfire, floods, government restrictions, war, civil unrest, epidemics or pandemics, or any other circumstance making the program unsafe or impracticable.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-60d0c7a e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"60d0c7a\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bd6f417 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"bd6f417\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">1. Booking &amp; Contract Formation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-00b32fc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"00b32fc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA booking is made when:\n<ul>\n \t<li>you pay the required deposit;<\/li>\n \t<li>you provide all requested personal, passport and medical information; and<\/li>\n \t<li>we issue a written booking confirmation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nA binding contract comes into existence once ABM issues a written confirmation.\n\nWe reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion for safety, medical, experience, fitness, or operational reasons, including minimum group size requirements.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7b4ce43 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"7b4ce43\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f5d85ea elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f5d85ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">2. Accuracy of Information<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0320eee elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0320eee\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>We take reasonable care to ensure that all information on our website and materials is accurate. However, itineraries, dates, routes, vertical gain, accommodation, logistics and prices are indicative and subject to change.<\/p><p>We reserve the right to correct errors and update details at any time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dd0079f e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"dd0079f\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-72958f1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"72958f1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">3. Fitness, Skills &amp; Medical Disclosure<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2ca6b8c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2ca6b8c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMountain programs are physically and technically demanding. You are responsible for ensuring that your <strong>fitness level, skills and experience<\/strong> are appropriate for the program booked.\n\nYou must disclose all relevant medical conditions, injuries, medications, allergies, prior altitude illness or limitations <strong>before booking<\/strong> and update us if anything changes.\n\nWe may require:\n<ul>\n \t<li>a medical certificate,<\/li>\n \t<li>a self-assessment form,<\/li>\n \t<li>proof of prior experience,<\/li>\n \t<li>or a screening call.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nFailure to provide requested documentation may result in your booking being treated as <strong>cancelled by you<\/strong>, applying Section 6.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aa2a314 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"aa2a314\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c0ecf50 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c0ecf50\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">4. Payment Terms (ABM Policy)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7fe2081 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7fe2081\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n \t<li>A <strong>50% deposit<\/strong> of the total expedition cost is required at booking.<\/li>\n \t<li>This deposit must be received <strong>before any organization begins<\/strong>, including:\n<ul>\n \t<li>guide confirmations,<\/li>\n \t<li>refuge bookings,<\/li>\n \t<li>permits and logistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n \t<li>The remaining <strong>50% balance<\/strong> must be paid <strong>no later than 60 days before the expedition start date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>No services are guaranteed until <strong>full payment<\/strong> is received.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nFailure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation with applicable cancellation terms.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-be8d18e e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"be8d18e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0ceb5eb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0ceb5eb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">5. Travel &amp; Expedition Insurance<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d5e644f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d5e644f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWe strongly recommend (and for some routes may require) insurance covering:\n<ul>\n \t<li>trip cancellation,<\/li>\n \t<li>medical emergencies,<\/li>\n \t<li>evacuation and rescue,<\/li>\n \t<li>travel delays,<\/li>\n \t<li>loss or damage of baggage and equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nInsurance must explicitly cover <strong>high-altitude and mountain activities<\/strong> relevant to your expedition.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f444501 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"f444501\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-64e1a58 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"64e1a58\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">6. Cancellations (Andes Big Mountain Policy)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e086f6c e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"e086f6c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a2de057 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a2de057\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">6.1 Client Cancellation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4adf745 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4adf745\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>All cancellations must be submitted <strong>in writing<\/strong> (email acceptable).<\/p><ul><li><p><strong>More than 60 days before the start date<\/strong><\/p><p>\u2192 <strong>80% refund<\/strong> of all amounts paid.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>60 days or less before the start date<\/strong><\/p><p>\u2192 <strong>No refund (0%)<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e9abd47 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"e9abd47\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e8f9c56 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e8f9c56\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">6.2 Non-Refundable &amp; Non-Transferable Payments<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5faf90b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5faf90b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>Deposits are <strong>non-refundable<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Payments made to third-party providers (guides, refuges, permits, transport) are <strong>non-recoverable<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Bookings are <strong>not transferable<\/strong> unless explicitly approved in writing by ABM and may incur additional costs.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-942c3bc e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"942c3bc\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-16e043a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"16e043a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">6.3 Cancellation by Andes Big Mountain<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-646c21b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"646c21b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If ABM cancels an expedition for internal reasons, a <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" data-token-index=\"1\">100% refund<\/span> of all payments received will be issued.<!-- notionvc: 23875cfb-17a6-4ee6-a261-d3bf1358f800 --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aa5bf4e e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"aa5bf4e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ee93a9d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ee93a9d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">6.4 Weather, Safety &amp; Force Majeure<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1d57829 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1d57829\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIf the expedition cannot proceed due to <strong>weather, safety or force majeure events<\/strong>, <strong>no refund will be issued<\/strong>.\n\nWhere possible, ABM will:\n<ul>\n \t<li>propose <strong>alternative itineraries or objectives<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n \t<li>adapt the program to safer conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThis policy exists because guides, refuges and logistics partners require early and often non-refundable commitments.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c78e00c e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"c78e00c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b01baf6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b01baf6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">6.5 Early Departure \/ Unused Services<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-40bc6d5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"40bc6d5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>No refunds are issued for early departure or unused services.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c9c3ea9 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"c9c3ea9\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9844162 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9844162\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">7. Changes Requested by the Client<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5cce552 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5cce552\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAny request to change dates, participants or program elements must be made in writing and is subject to availability, third-party conditions and potential administrative or rebooking fees.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-da44794 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"da44794\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-453da9c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"453da9c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">8. Program Flexibility &amp; Itinerary Changes<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d28e2a2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d28e2a2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>You acknowledge that mountain expeditions require flexibility. Routes, objectives, schedules, accommodation and logistics may change before or during the program due to safety or operational considerations.<\/p><p>Additional costs arising from necessary changes during the expedition may be payable by you.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ab19da5 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"ab19da5\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d0d8a50 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d0d8a50\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">9. Acceptance of Risk<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9baf6b2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9baf6b2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>You acknowledge that mountain activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to altitude illness, falls, avalanches, rockfall, severe weather, and limited rescue access.<\/p><p>By booking, you accept these risks and agree to follow guide instructions and safety protocols at all times.<\/p><p>Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by ABM\u2019s negligence where such exclusion is unlawful.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3299155 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"3299155\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2ca4256 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2ca4256\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">10. Guide Authority<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ff5177e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ff5177e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>All expeditions are led by ABM-appointed Guides. The Guide\u2019s decisions regarding safety, route choice and participant suitability are final.<\/p><p>If a participant is deemed unfit, unsafe, or disruptive, ABM may remove them from the program without refund. Any resulting costs are the participant\u2019s responsibility.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0088000 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"0088000\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ac4ee6a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ac4ee6a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">11.
