This full-day alpine ridge experience in Chamonix is a structured introduction to exposed ridgeline climbing, set in the high-altitude terrain of the Mont Blanc Massif.
Moving across carefully selected ridges depending on level and conditions, the program is designed to build confidence, precision, and efficiency on exposed alpine terrain.
From the elegant snow crest of the Aiguille d’Entrèves, to the mixed and technical sections of the Arêtes des Cosmiques, and the more sustained granite of the Aiguille des Marbrées, each route offers a distinct balance of difficulty, exposure, and technicality.
The day focuses on fluid movement along ridgelines, including footwork on narrow crests, short pitched sections, rope management, and decision-making in changing conditions. Emphasis is placed on maintaining rhythm, managing exposure, and understanding how to move safely in high-alpine environments.
More than a single climb, this experience is about building the skills and awareness required for classic alpine routes — an essential step toward objectives such as Mont Blanc, Gran Paradiso, or more technical ridge traverses in the Alps.
