Starting from the glaciers above Chamonix, the route links sustained skinning across vast glaciated terrain with technical crampon sections and precise alpine transitions above 4,000 m. It is not simply a summit goal — it is a test of efficiency, rhythm, and decision-making in serious mountain conditions.
Depending on seasonal stability, the ascent follows the Trois Monts route or an alternative line, combining steep glacial slopes, crevassed terrain, and exposed upper ridges before reaching 4,810 m. Movement demands seamless transitions from skis to crampons and back again, disciplined rope-team travel, and careful pacing in thin air. Every hour on the mountain requires strategic timing within narrow weather and snow windows.
The reward is a continuous high-altitude ski descent from Western Europe’s highest summit — a rare combination of scale, elegance, and technical commitment. Designed for experienced ski alpinists, this expedition represents a defining milestone in alpine progression: mastering altitude, terrain, and descent in one complete, uncompromising objective.
